Title
Addressing Challenges facing the local Medical Physicists in Nuclear Medicine
Theme
Medical Physics
Background
There are several issues which were face the local users as obstacles to open nuclear medicine units for clinical service. One of the main difficulties is that the professionalism of medical physics roles in nuclear medicine facility depending on the local guidelines and regulations was not recognized. This project addresses the challenges and difficulties that local nuclear medicine physicists might face during their carriers. It will also discuss recommended solutions to overcomes these obstacles
Summary of Work
Summary of Results
Take-home Messages
The collaborations of work between the health care institutions and local regulations bodies is significant to improve the medical physics carrier in Saudi Arabia
Supporting the improvements in clinical programs of training and educating the medical physicists in nuclear medicine is recommended
Clarifying the authority of clinical medical physics depending on the local regulations and guidelines is also recommended
